Although I’ve been to many countries–36 to be exact–in the past 6 years, I’ve failed to document my adventures for each one. Womp. Thankfully I have photos for recollection! It’s never too late! But for time’s sake, I’ll start with my most recent trip (in the next post).
Wait! But before that…I want to share why my website is important to me, and could be helpful to you! I’ve always had a passion for travel, but it wasn’t until 2012 that I was bitten by the travel bug and since then, I’ve had the incurable lust for travel. So here I am today. I’ve been very fortunate to experience local culture and explore untrodden lands. I’m always excited to share and exchange stories when I meet other travelers! On return from my trips, I almost always receive one or two messages from friends asking me how I afford to travel as much as I do while going to grad school, how I fund my trips, or how they can travel like I do. My friends are the inspiration of this website. That said, I want to provide tips and insight on my travels through this blog, while offering the opportunity for friends and travelers alike to these travel experiences with my guidance and network of local ambassadors. The people I have met on my trips, the locals, the Couchsurfing community, as well as you (yes, you the readers!), make my dream possible.
